msn ? problems need help

hello ive got a problem with msn it wont let me upgrade it says i cant log in till i upgrade to the new version it goes threw all the stuff and installs then cancals saying theres another instaltion in progress but there isnt and it wont let me uninstall windows live o repair it so i cant get on msn at all at the minute

any one got any ideas on how to solve this?

1 restart your comp

2 exit out of your umm task bar

3 ummm a system restore

system restore are u madd lol all the above didnt work this sucks

if you got an external hard drive it would work if u save what u need to that or a flash drive then you wouldn't have to worry

ye thats if im downloading but im not it says im trying to install and im not

So, you can't uninstall it?

Hmm, well mine did that, then it like fucked me over with a really muffed up version. So I had to uninstall everything, and reinstall...

But idk bout you. Check your task manager in the processes tab to see if anything is running for Windows Live or MSN. Then KILL IT!

yep tried that nout it keeps saying there's another installation process in progress please exit that or finish the installation be4 continuing wtf this really dnt make sense

Well the only other way is the system restore mate unless hmm well idk any other way tbh

ok you lot are missing the point nothig i download will install nor uninstall

well im not telling you to install somthing any ways if all else fails take it to a computer spicalist lol

no i dont have vista i use XP

and couple months got it like in august and now the live messenger is installed and ready to go thats sorted now just getting the correct Microsoft frameworks installed correctly this could be half my problems with the servers not running correctly xD

getting my laptop upgraded to windows 7 from vista seeing if it works better

ye ive been told win7 is the bomb
